Wolves’ eyes are closed when they are born, but they grow very quickly. Their eyes open 10-14 days after they are born.

Within two weeks they begin to waddle. In the first month, they join the herd. They are fed with breast milk until the third week and at the end of the first month they start to eat meat.

Before they start hunting with the pack, cubs and young stay together. All the wolves in the herd take care of the cubs.

While the mother wolf is in the nest with the cubs, the other wolves in the herd bring food to the mother and the cubs. In this way, the offspring are not left alone.
