The Belgian flag is the flag of the Kingdom of Belgium. Originally in the 13:15 size, but generally used in 2:3, the flag consists of 3 equal parts of black on the longitudinal left, yellow in the middle and red on the right. It became the official flag on January 23, 1831. In 1830, Belgian resistance against the Kingdom of the Netherlands began at the opera house in Brussels. Thus, a flag consisting of vertical 3 bands is prepared. These colors are red, yellow and black. The red color represents the red lion of the city of Luxembourg, the yellow the yellow lion of the city of Bhavna and the black color the black lion of the city of Flamber.
