It would not be wrong to say that Pokémon is a world in its own right. The world of Pokémon has parallels in our world. Various creatures and objects in our world are included in the Pokémon world as Pokémon. Pokémon are creatures with different types, attack techniques, evolutions, abilities. In the Pokémon world, the goal is to train Pokémon. Anyone who trains Pokémon is called a Pokémon trainer.
The trainers who are willing to do this work leave their homes and go on a journey in the Pokémon world. Before going on a journey, they need to buy a Pokémon called the starter Pokémon. This Pokémon is also provided by the Professors of the region where it lives. During this journey, they find Pokémon for themselves to train. They catch these Pokémon with a variety of balls called Poke Balls (Poke ball). The priority rule for catching a Pokémon is to make it fight another Pokémon in your hand and reduce its energy. Pokémon whose energy does not decrease are difficult to catch or not caught at all. When the Pokémon’s energy is reduced, the Pokémon is caught by throwing the Poke Ball to the wild Pokémon. The captured Pokémon is now yours and must serve you. Of course, this obligation also depends on the solid character of the educator. Because Pokémon don’t listen to trainers they consider incompetent.
The Pokémon universe was created by Japanese developer Satoshi Tajiri. The name Pokémon comes from the abbreviation of Poketto MonsutÄ, meaning Pocket Monsters (French pocket monsters). Pokémon is both the name of the franchise, which is currently worth billions of dollars, and the name of the creatures that inhabit the world of the Pokémon universe. There are over 800 species of Pokémon divided into eight generations. The idea for the Pokemon is said to have been inspired by Satoshi Tajiri’s childhood raising locusts for racing. Also, his friends, Dr. Nicknamed the Bug (insect doctor), he also loved to collect insects. He also wanted to create a game around this idea by imagining bugs crawling on the connecting cable (the cable between two video game consoles). Satoshi Tajiri came to work for Nintendo and met Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario and Zelda. The first Pokémon (or Pocket Monsters at the time) video games Green and Red were released for the Game Boy in 1996 only in Japan. The games became hits very quickly, and an animated series and a trading card game were created. Pokémon success is perhaps only just beginning.
