Magmar is a bipedal Pokémon with a red body with yellow flame patterns on the lower half.

It has a shrunken bronze beak, small eyes, and two bumps on its forehead with a yellow flame above each. Hard, red scales cover his arms, and he has five clawed fingers on each hand.

Magmar’s shoulders and thighs are yellow, and his red feet each have two clawed toes. He has black, metal shackles around his neck and ankles. It has a row of red spikes on its back, and there is a flame at the tip of its tapering yellow tail.
