Volleyball was designed by Morgan on February 9, 1895. It was started to be played in 1895 as an indoor sport. Morgan called this game “mintonette”; Later on, based on the principle of hitting the ball without touching the ground (volley), the name “volleyball” was proposed and the game was known by this name.
