WarGreymon is Agumon’s Mega form that he attained through his teleportation evolution. It contains a special metal called digichrome, and the only substance that can cut it is digichrome.
His hands are also covered with claws made of Digichrome, thanks to which he shattered and defeated Machinedramon with one blow. He single-handedly defeated two of the Dark Masters. He also struggled with Piedmon, who is also known as the boss of the Dark Masters and the strongest, the evil himself, until his friends came.
He also died while fighting one on one with Piedmon. However, since MetalGarurumon is back to normal (he is fine again), he joins the battle and revives WarGreymon due to the special bond between them. Later, MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon fight together and manage to defeat Piedmon’s attack called Trump Sword as MetalGarurumon detects and neutralizes it thanks to its sensors.
However, Piedmon tricks MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon into puppets. He also delivered the final blow that killed Apocalymon. In the second season, Blackwargreymon started to make sense of why he lived because of the conversation he had with Blackwargreymon (while being Agumon), which was formed by combining 1000 (thousand) black towers, and he wanted to take revenge on those who created him (Arukenimon and Mummymon).
Just when he was going to fight them, Taichi (Agumon’s owner) was there too, and of course Agumon too. At that time, Blackwargreymon attacked them, and Agumon prevented this by transforming into WarGreymon, even allowing him to return completely for good. He also evolves (combines) DNA with MetalGarurumon to become one of the strongest Royal Knights, Omnimon.
